Vision 2020

St. John's is a congregation that cherishes and honors our past, loves its present, but believes there is more to come! We are committed to expanding the reach of our ministry by connecting intentionally, worshiping faithfully, learning together, serving sacrificially, and giving generously. The changing needs and expectations of ministry in the 21st century have driven this project with designs for a new worship space, gathering area, and updated offices. The end result will be a church, primed to serve this community and the world with love for many years to come!

The Vision 2020 Building Project has begun!

On a rainy Sunday morning, September 6, we celebrated the groundbreaking for St. John's new Worship Center! Pastor Harold Skillrud, Pastor Emeritus, joined Senior Pastor David Glesne, Associate Pastor Anne Christiansen, and Council President Todd Peterson to officially break ground. Thankfully the rain stopped in time for the outdoor portion of the service! Please continue to pray for this project and discern how you will be involved. Several links are at the bottom of the page with suggestions for prayer during this exciting time in the life of St. John's!

Result of the August 1/2, 2020 Vote

More than 400 members of St. John's voted in the Vision 2020 election. The vote was 74% in favor to move forward with the Vision 2020 project as presented. We will continue to rely on God to guide us on this journey as we begin the building process and plan for the capital campaign. The Vision 2020 committee and building committee will continue to provide updates on the project activities.
