List of Caring Groups

Providing support for people with a specific need.

BeFrienders are trained lay volunteers who extend the care of the St. John’s faith community. Who are the people who need a BeFriender? Maybe it is an elderly person who is homebound or in a nursing home. Maybe it is a single parent struggling with raising children or a person living with a chronic illness. Perhaps it is an unemployed head of household weary from job hunting or a new mom adjusting to caring for a baby. BeFrienders provide pastoral care for people in all kinds of difficult or transitional situations. Contact Gudrun Dunt,, (309) 827-6121 ext. 214.
