Important Information!
Youth Ministry Board Meeting! The Youth Ministry Board meeting for September is Sunday, September 5 at 11:30 in the SHYR! This is our senior high student leadership group. If you are interested on being involved in planning and making decisions about youth ministry this semester, then contact Steve to join this ministry board.
Regular CHAOS! Regular CHAOS starts on Wednesday, September 1st from 6:45 to 8:30 in the Fellowship Hall. We will be starting out the regular CHAOS year with an evening of sharing, prayer, music and fun! Don’t forget to bring a friend!
Reminders!
Work Camp Sponsor Appreciation Dinner is Sunday, September 12! We will start with a large Worship service with all of our sponsors at 6 PM in the PLC. Then we will transform the PLC into our dinner area. Please Invite your sponsors as soon as possible along with your own personal THANK YOU letters!
As we begin the process of hiring a new Senior Pastor, the Church has hired a consulting group to help St. John’s identify our special needs. This group, Holy Cow! Consulting wants to meet with each Ministry Team. The Senior High Ministry Team will meet with them on Monday, September 27th at 6:00 to 7:30. Parents NOTE: If you are interested in joining the Senior High Ministry Team, please contact Steve Terry at the Church.
Fall LOCK-IN is Sat./Sun October 9/10. We will start at 8 PM in the Senior High Youth Room and go until the following morning at 8 AM. Permission slips will be available soon. Mark Your Calendar Now!
