Important Confirmation Dates:

The Spring Rite of Confirmation is May 11, 2008.

There are two requirements to being confirmed here at St. John’s Lutheran Church.  You are asked to do a Faith Share and participate in the 3 hour Faith 101 Class.  The Faith Share is a brief witness of faith by the candidate in one of the Church’s worship services.  This is done with a biblical reference and after meeting with one of the pastors or the Youth Minister, Steve Terry.

If you have not yet signed up for your Faith Share please do so soon. Don’t forget to meet with a pastor to talk about your faith share, bible passage and understanding of the Rite of Confirmation.

Contact Steve Terry, the Director of Young Adult and Senior High Ministries at 309 827-6121 or email to steve@stjohnsbloomington.org

Please Come to LIGHT Worship!

Please attend the Sunday Night L.I.G.H.T. Worship Service. This is  young adult and youth planned & led and is an energized & contemporary worship service for the young of heart!!  We still need musicians, readers, ushers, greeters, and liturgists to help. Call Steve, 827-6121 if you are interested.
