The next Work Camp Meeting is Sunday, April 11th starting with LIGHT Worship at 6 PM and then continuing with our meeting. We will be in the PLC. Please mark this down on your calendar! At this meeting we need to have EVERYONE’s Work Camp Paperwork turned in with a copy of your insurance card! Also – please be selling the Chicken Dinner Tickets!!
The Work Camp Mission 2010 has ONE spot left – If you know someone who might want to change their life through helping others, then let me know. Get your form in ASAP because once full a waiting list will be formed. We usually have a couple of youth who can’t go and spots will open up.

Attention ALL Seniors of the Class of 2010!! You and your parents are INVITED to a special fellowship and faith sharing event on April 18. The first annual Faith 404, a afternoon to revisit your Faith 101 and prepare to go forward in your Faith! We will gather in the Fellowship Hall from 2 – 4 PM. Please RSVP to Steve at 827-6121 (215).

Work Camp’s Garage Sale was a huge success with a record for the most items donated – money collected at $5600 – and fastest cleanup. Thank you to DeAnn Bennett and Debi Petrillo for chairing this event and to Cindy Musick for overseeing everything. Also – thank you to Chuck Hurliman for making another clothes hanger for our Garage Sale.
**Our next fundraiser is the Carryout Chicken Dinner with the work campers expected to sell at least 10 tickets per person (20 per family).

*Let us provide dinner for you in April! The Work Campers will be selling Carryout Chicken Dinner Tickets for the next month to provide a wonderful half roasted chicken dinner, mashed potatoes, corn and dinner roll for your meal. The tickets cost $8.00 each with the Work Camp earning almost $4 in profit from each ticket sold. The pickup date is Thursday, April 22nd, from 4:45 to 7:00 PM in the Fellowship Hall Welcome Center. Stay in your car – a work camper will take your ticket and deliver your HOT meal in seconds!

The next Winter Jam Christian Concert is Saturday, March 27th at the ISU Redbird Arena! We will meet at the Arena an hour before the concert and go in together. Tickets are $10 and will be purchased at the door. A PERMISSION SLIP is required! Work Camp’s CHILI FEST was a big success! We raised over $1400 and provided a wonderful Fellowship event for the Church. Thank you to our coordinators: Bob & Rhonda Abeling, the Wudtke’s, the Klante’s and the Sampsons for all of their tireless efforts to make this a rousing success. 48 work campers worked at this event – which is an incredible testimony to your commitment to our Mission. Thank you and God Bless! *

Bethlehem Farm Mission for High School youth is now taking registrations! Go to the Bethlehem Farm page on this website for more information and all of the necessary forms. This year’s week is June 13 – 19, 2010. We are only taking 5-6 youth and 2 adults – so sign up ASAP!!

IMPORTANT EVENTS:
- Wednesday Nights: CHAOS 6:45 to 8:30 PM at the Fellowship Hall. CHAOS is our weekly ministry program with discussions on faith, activities, videos, music and prayer.
- Sunday Morningss: Regular Extreme Faith Bible Study Sundays from 9:15 to 10:00 in the CHAPEL. This is a fun group who break open God’s word in new and interesting ways.
- Sunday, Sept. 13: Etreme Faith Bible Study starts up again in the Chapel (until the new Youth Room is ready in February, 2010) – 9:15 to 10:15
- Wednesday, October 28, 5 to 6:30 : Trunk or Treatour SAFE Halloween Event for the children of our Church. In the Westside parking lot. Decrated Cars – Costumes – Games – Candy
REGULAR PROGRAMING
CHAOS – Claiming Him As Our Savior – is our Wednesday Night Senior High Ministry program. We meet from 6:45 to 8:30 PM in the Fellowship Hall of the Church during the school year. During the summer we have our Summer CHAOS which meets at Underwood Park from 6:30 to 8:30 PM. A typical night of CHAOS will include 30 – 40 teens gathering for social time until 7 PM and then engaging in acitivties, illustrations, videos and music about typical faith and teen topics.
Starting next Fall, the Youth Ministry Board Student Ministers will be leading 4 to 6 CHAOS nights during each semester.
EXTREME FAITH Bible Study – meets on Sunday mornings from 9:15 to 10:15 AM in the Youth Room at the Church. This Bible study includes current biblical video series and discussions led by adult leaders. This bible study includes a video, music and discussions on various teen topics seen through the lens of God’s Good News.
The Extreme Faith Bible Study will be meeting during the school year and take the summer off.
LIGHT Worship – Living In God’s House Together – is a YOUTH worship service on the second Sunday of the month at 6 PM in the Parish Life Center. This service is high energy especially for all Youth and their families with Christian praise songs, youth directed sermon, and lots of interesting ways in which to praise God our loving Father. This service highlights high school youth, junior high, college and young adults in the various ministries. It is intended to be for the whole congreation with a special emphasis on the Youth and their style of Praise.
