DinnerTime participants gather to connect children, youth, and adults, helping all to grow in their faith while building up our family in Christ over a delicious meal. People of all ages are welcome. DinnerTime is open invitation, so come each week or just when your family is free. Registration is not required! DinnerTime will meet 5:30–6:30 PM the first, second, and third Wednesdays of the month (except for the first Wednesday in January). The cost for the meal is $3 per person or a maximum of $15 per family. Clean up starts at 6:20 PM, so please be here no later than 6 PM for dinner. Kaffehuset provides refreshments, fellowship, education, and entertainment. Members and non-members of any age are invited to attend this educational fellowship hour. Lunch Bunch is a social group for St. John’s singles, ages 60 and over, who enjoy meeting new people, making new friends, and dining out. They meet at 11 AM the second Sunday of the month at various restaurant locations in Bloomington/Normal. Prime Timers is a social group of adults, ages 55 and over, who enjoy getting together bi-monthly for fun and fellowship. The group is open to couples and singles who enjoy meeting good people and making new friends. The six events per year are planned by small groups of volunteers and include dinners in restaurants or homes, theater, picnics, game nights, and a variety of other events. SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL ACTIVITIES
CHAOS Wednesdays gathers at 6:45 PM every Wednesday in the Fellowship Hall. This Senior High Youth Group meets in Christian fellowship for Bible study, discussing faith topics, participating in shared prayer and service ministry. Abigail Circle is a group of women who gather for the purpose of service, outreach, and study. They meet at 6:30 PM the first Monday of the month, September through May, in the Fellowship Hall (340). Rachel Circle members meet the first Tuesday of each month, September through May, at 6:30 PM in the Fellowship Hall (340) for Bible study and a service project. The group participates in the fall and spring programs when the ladies’ circles come together for a meal and program. They welcome new members.
