Weekends offer several choices for those in 6-8th grades and their families:
- SPECIAL NOTE: Worship times change Sep. 5 to Traditional Services (8am and 9:15am) and Community of Joy (9:15am and 10:30am). Saturday Evening Service remains at 5:00pm (Sat.).
- Weekend Worship
- Assist a teacher in a Joy Zone class for children
- Be one of our Acolytes at worship
- Attend iWORD Bible Study at 9:15am (September through April, 1st/2nd Sundays only)
- Come to GENESIS at 10:30am (September through May)
GENESIS
Genesis is off currently for summer break. Returns Rally Day 2010 on September 12.
10:30am in the brand new Junior High Room.
No registration required – just show up sleepy or awake!
- Led by awesome and courageous adults!
- Christian Music Videos, weird objects, and whatever else helps us learn about about God and ourselves.
- Occasionally we just hang out with each other.
- Join us in our new Jr. High Room featuring games, foosball, Nintendo Wii, couches and more!
- Prayer, Discussions about God, Scripture and more.
- Genesis and iWORD help raise funds to help children in Ecuador! We welcome donations by our Genesis and iWORD participants. You make a HUGE difference – over $400 raised last school year!

1st and 2nd Sundays of the month (except September and December, ends in April)
2010-2011 iWORD gets into… THE LIFE OF CHRIST!
We’ll be diving deep into verses from all 4 Gospels! Matthew, Mark, Luke and John.
iWORD meets in the brand new Junior High Room!
Join us for a Bible study where students will take the year to let the Gospels reveal who Jesus really is. We learn and hear about Jesus all the time but how would you describe Jesus? Take a chance! Come and learn more about who Jesus is in our lives and the lives of others.
iWORD meets the first and second Sundays of most months from 9:15am-10:15am and students will be expected to read ahead of time the verses being discussed (see calendar). No homework other than reading! The intention is for students to attend each Sunday and to go more in-depth into the Bible than Genesis or Thrive does. Parents and other adults are invited to help lead! We hope you’ll consider this small group study.

No need to register! Active attendance each month is expected in order to get the most out of the program.
