Christmas Caroling
Make A Prayer Labyrinth Tarp Make a labyrinth out of a tarp and masking tape. For St. John’s use or donate to another organization. Contact Rob for info
Rake Leaves Get the group together and go to each group members’ home to rake leaves. Recruit a parent to host pizza or snacks at the last house. Consider asking group members if they have grandparents in town that would appreciate their yard raked or prepared for winter.

PRAYER/WORSHIP IDEAS

Prayer Journal Challenge the group to keep a prayer journal See Example Journal
Prayer Walk Prayer walk at schools, church, etc. Resource 1

Usher Team Enlist your group to be an ongoing usher team at one of the services.
Greeters Enlist your group to be scheduled as greeters.
Special Worship Services Attend a special service together such as:
Thanksgiving Eve, Holy Week, Heritage Service

SCRIPTURE IDEAS

Favorite Verse For any event, ask students to bring their favorite verse (or a family member’s verse) and share at your event.
Concordance Consult a Concordance (Rob has one in his office) to help you find scripture appropriate for your Challenge. Read the verse(s) at the event and invite the group to respond. Come up with questions if you really want conversation.
