MAIL and EMAIL
Campers love mail! Mail can be from parents, grandparents, friends, you name it! Make sure you mail letters EARLY in the week (like Monday or Tuesday at the latest). LOMC asks that you not send gum, food or any candy.
Mail to:
Camper’s Name/St.John’s BLM
LOMC
PO Box 239
Oregon, IL 61061
Email your camper! You can also send an email to your camper by going to the LOMC website and clicking on the email link on the home page. Campers will not be able to send a reply but you can quickly get a message to them during the week.
MEDICATIONS
Parents, if your SALT particpant is bringing ANY medications (including aspirin, allergy meds, etc.) they must be packed separately as LOMC will be collecting ALL meds when we arrive on Sunday afternoon. The Camp Nurse will be responsible for keeping and distributing any meds during the week. Please place your son or daughter’s meds in a sealable sandwich/freezer bag and make sure the bag AND and meds have your child’s name on it.
MONEY
SALT participants may bring money to be used in the LOMC Camp Store at the end of the week. The store has many souvenior items like clothing, stuffed animals, bandanas, necklaces, etc. LOMC staff will be collecting money on Sunday and keeping it safe during the week.
PARENT HELP
We love parents to come and join in the fun too! Parents can attend as leaders during the week to help keep the week run smoothly. Our LOMC counselors plan and lead most of the activities during the week while adult leaders provide support. The cost for adult leaders is the same as the kids and adults get to stay in the awesome Freedom Tree Village (see video below).
