The group heard some background on past Ecuador trips by high school students Hannah and Arden. We were led by the high schoolers afterward in making Gospel bracelets that will given to children during the VBS program on the Ecuador Mission Trip.

Thrive and Genesis have done an amazing job raising funds to sponsor our Compassion child and for our annual Ecuador Mission trip. The funds have benefited Yulissa in so many ways including health-related needs and education. Our Ecuador Mission trip is gearing up to head back to the people of Ecuador this summer and serve with them through construction help, VBS, medical help and more.Silvia Yulissa Cuyo Toaquiza (age 4)

Thanks to everyone who found change in their pockets to donate to these worthy causes and your prayers are even more precious and valued!

Our new times for worship are:

  • 8:30a Traditional
    (Sanctuary)
  • 9:45a Community of Joy
    (Parish Life Center)
  • 11:15a Community of Joy
    (Parish Life Center)
  • Saturday Evening Service
    remains at 5:00p on Saturdays
  • Nursery provided at all services on Sundays

Other Sunday morning times (starting September 8, 2013):

  • 9:45a Joy Zone children’s program
  • 11:15a Joy Zone children’s program
  • 11:15a Genesis junior high program

Details for Adult Discipleship and Senior High programming are not yet available.

Where’s iWORD? The Jr. High Team decided not to renew the program for this fall. For more details click here.

The 6th grade girls made lunches at church and donated them to the Home Sweet Home Mission. Two of our 6th grade boys’ groups went to Midwest Food Bank to help bag needed food supplies. A great night for these 6th graders and their Guides (and Parent Helpers) to serve the Lord!
