Room Shepherds Needed

We are in immediate need for parents to host youth in the Jr. High Room on Wednesday evenings when Thrive meets. 

Room Shepherds Info:

• Jr. High Room is open from about 6:15p to 6:40p
• The number of youth varies from 5 to 28
• Get to know youth
• Keep order
• Ideally, parents who are not Thrive Guides are needed
• Kids typically talk with each other, play the Wii, Foosball or entertain themselves with other games.
• Encourage friendly participation
• Scoot kids out of the room before Thrive starts
• Minimal cleanup needed
• At least 2 adults are needed each evening (rotation possible)

We especially thank the Garee Family for being our primary Room Shepherds the last year and half and welcome them back when their family schedule allows. We know you’ll enjoy helping as well!

With the potential of dozens of youth and the location of the room, we will not be opening the Jr. High Room without adults present to host and supervise. Youth are allowed to continue meeting in the Atrium, Youth Hallway or Parish Life Center before Thrive begins each Wednesday evening.
