Reaching

And your righteousness, O God,
     reach the high heavens.

Signs of summer are everywhere!  Warmer weather, ballgames, trips, jobs, mowing, boredom, excitement.  At St. John’s the very top of the Sanctuary is being re-painted.  Painter (and member) Ed Embree was high up braving the sun and wind to keep our church looking top notch!  It was amazing to be on the ground looking up at Ed painting – pretty awesome sight.  Have you stood in awe today of what God does and is doing in your life and the lives around you.  Have you stood in awe even in the boring times, the tough times, the horrible times?  God is great… all the time!
