St. John’s Facility Project Continues . . . updated June 23, 2009

Quick Facts
We are quickly moving into the construction phase of our A Church Alive! building/remodeling project. Every few days there is something new to provide us with excitement and interest. Just take a moment to note the activity in the last few weeks:
May 29, 2009: Asbestos removal in the Fellowship Hall was completed
May 31, 2009: Enlarged upper and lower level floor plans arrived along with the board that displays examples of the materials we can look forward to seeing on our interior walls, floors, cabinets and restrooms
June 5, 2009: Contract with Felmley-Dickerson as General Contractors to do our construction was signed
June 7, 2009: Ground-Breaking ceremony was held on Sunday morning at 11:30 AM to formally begin the building and remodeling project
June 9, 2009: Sign announcing the project was erected just north of the Towanda Avenue entrance
June 15, 2009: Demolition work began in the classrooms beneath Fellowship Hall
Yet to come… Mid-July: Work is scheduled to begin on the new addition
